Great Coke Deal at Basha's

This week's Basha's ad has Coke / Diet Coke 24 packs for $2.99 each, limit 2.

There is also a coupon on the last page of the Food City ad for $2 off 2 24 packs of Coke products. This is a manufacturer's coupon, but it does say Food City on it. Since it's a manufacturer's coupon, you should technically be able to use it at any store. If your Basha's will allow you to use the coupon, you will get two 24 packs for $3.98. This is a screaming deal!! Even without the coupon, it's still a really good price, so I probably won't cry if they don't let me use the coupon.

I'm on vacation this week, so I decided to clean out my pantry and refrigerator.

I was going to post some pictures here, but I'm sad to report that my super fancy 10 megapixel camera is with my DBF in Massachusetts and my old 2 megapixel camera is not working at the moment. My cell phone camera doesn't have a flash, and my pantry is too dark.

So, imagine if you will a nicely organized pantry and refrigerator. All the expired food has been removed, and everything has been rotated so the oldest items are in front.

I'm sad to say that I will probably be without a camera for almost two more weeks. Thankfully, it's too hot to shop anyway!

I'm Back! Fry's 7/18/09

I was at Fry's when they opened this morning. It was great! Everything was well stocked, and hardly any other shoppers. Here's what I got:

3 Sargento Cheese Slices
4 Kraft Shredded Cheese
1 Lender's Bagels
2 Philadelphia Cream Cheese

1 Frito Lay Queso Dip
3 Daisy Sour Cream
8 Playtex Gloves
4 Extra Gum 3pk.
2 Blueberries
2 Whole Tyson Chickens
1.65lb Onions
3.12lb Chuck Steak
1 Fry's Milk gal.
1 10lb Potatoes

I had coupons for everything except the bagels, cream cheese, milk, produce, and meat.

In all, I purchased 98 items and used 75 coupons.

There was a snafu - the cashier missed scanning 2 of the Propel waters, which threw off the count for the Buy 10, Save $5 deal. After realizing this, and getting the waters scanned and another $5 reward credited, I paid:

$13.98!!! and saved $211.33, which is around 93%!

What a great way to start the weekend!
